Stallion habit number 25 - Cut the Salt

I love salt. I used to put it on my mashed potatoes like crazy. Then I started having high blood pressure, so one of my New Year's resolutions was not to add salt to anything.

It seems like food has enough salt in it already, so you don't really need to add any more.

Our bodies need some salt, but I think we tend to overdose.

Of course, the saltier something is, the more you like to drink something to wash it down, until you can trap your body into over-eating.

Nine months after cutting salt, my blood pressure is fine. So cut the salt, and you will notice that your taste buds will work a lot better. Also, salt is a trigger food which causes me to overeat.
