I remember reading a saying that went like this, "Make all you can, give all you can, spend all you can."After all, everything we receive in this life is a gift. We come into this life with nothing, and we leave with nothing.
I think it is important to give back. What type of legacy will you leave when you pass on?
I think there are so many charities today, that you really have to pick the ones you are going to support.
I don't think you should feel guilty if you have to tell some of them No, but give to the one you believe in, and it will come back to you tenfold.
There is a game I love to play that teaches me about cash flow. One of the ways you get ahead in the "rat race" is that you actually give to charity.
Once you give 10% of your income to charity, you get to roll two dice for three turns. In the game, as well as in real life, the money always comes back to you.
