Stallion habit 52 - The healthy snack

Although I would personally rather eat chocolate chip, oatmeal cookies for snacks, I realize that forcing myself to eat something healthy two or three times a day can really improve my health quickly.

Mostly when I snack, I want to take the edge off my hunger until I can eat a pretty healthy meal.

Some snack ideas that work for me are a handful of almonds, peanut butter on wheat bread, a protein drink, or an apple. I think you get the idea.

Being prepared for when you are hungry is the other 50% of the battle. This will keep you from filling up with junk. So stock your surroundings with healthy snacks.
