When I bought my trailer park, I put $10,000 down earnest money and told them I would have financing within 60 days.

Being a realtor/broker, I though--no problem. Ten banks later, I was starting to sweat that I was going to lose my $10,000.

Thankfully, I was able to refinance my home and get the owner to carry the rest of the loan for three years.

The moral of the story: I should have know what I could do financially before I made an offer I just about failed at. Call my banker KC at 208-406-3834 to find out what you can do financially.
